Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect your personal data when you use this website, contact us or apply to our partner programme.
Who we are
My Property SaaS (“we”, “us”) operates MyPropertySAAS.com and provides property-management software for landlords, property managers, developers and brokers in Dubai and the wider GCC. We act as the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Our address is Office 1402, Burlington Tower, Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
This policy is written to align with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the “PDPL”). Where a customer uses our software to manage its own tenants or staff, that customer is the controller and we act as its processor under the subscription agreement.
Data we collect
- Information you give us: name, phone number, work email, company name, number of units, portfolio details and any message you send through our contact, demo or partner-application forms, or by WhatsApp.
- Technical data: browser type, device, approximate location derived from your IP address, pages visited and referring page, when you consent to analytics.
- Preferences: your cookie and privacy choices, stored on your device.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data through this website. Please do not include it in free-text fields.
How we use your data
- To reply to your enquiry, schedule and run a demo, and prepare a proposal.
- To assess and administer partner-programme applications.
- To operate, secure and improve this website.
- To send service or marketing communications where you have agreed to receive them (you can opt out at any time).
- To meet legal, regulatory and accounting obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.
Legal bases
Under the PDPL we process personal data on one or more of the following bases: your consent (for example optional cookies and marketing messages, which you may withdraw at any time); steps needed to enter into or perform a contract with you; our legitimate interests in running and securing our business where these are not overridden by your rights; and legal obligations.
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UAE. Where this happens we take steps to ensure an adequate level of protection in line with the PDPL, for example by using contractual safeguards or transferring only to jurisdictions recognised as providing adequate protection.
Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above, including to satisfy legal, accounting or reporting requirements. When it is no longer needed we delete or anonymise it.
Security
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including access controls, encryption in transit and the principle of least privilege. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your rights we will notify you and the competent authority as required by law.
Your rights
Subject to the PDPL and its exceptions you may ask us to: give you access to your personal data; correct inaccurate data; erase data; restrict or object to processing; receive your data in a portable format; withdraw consent; and not be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that significantly affect you. Children
This website is intended for business users and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date below shows the current version; where changes are material we will ask for your consent again where required.
